Cathy Berlinger-Gustafson

Cathy Berlinger-Gustafson is a senior consultant for Learning Forward. In her work with schools, districts, and state education agencies, Cathy designs and facilitates presentations, workshops and trainings. Her work includes school and organizational change, professional development processes and systems, and coaching, as well as other topics that support continuous improvement in education.

Cathy has served as a mentor for the Learning Forward Academy and as the Learning Forward Annual Conference Planning Committee facilitator. In 2001, she received the Distinguished Service Award from the National Staff Development Council (now Learning Forward).

Prior to consulting, Cathy taught elementary, middle and high school students, was an elementary principal and curriculum director. She has worked in suburban schools, urban schools and in the Department of Defense schools overseas in Okinawa, Japan and Hahn, Germany.
