Duncan has been principal at the Fox Meadow Elementary School in Scarsdale, NY for the past 8 years. He has 13 years classroom experience in both public and independent schools where he taught Language Arts and Social Studies. He is a doctoral candidate at Columbia Teacher College where his research is focused on Teacher Agency in the Creation and Use of Local Assessments. He is a board member of the Learning Forward Foundation where he is currently working on a project promoting school innovation across North America. He holds a AB from Harvard and a masters degree in Media Literacy from New York University and Educational Leadership from Columbia Teachers College.
