Victoria Duff is a Senior Consultant and project manager for Learning Forward, supporting projects on educator effectiveness and professional learning focused on instruction and curriculum. She is also the Coordinator of Professional Learning for the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association. She spent 27 years as a classroom practitioner and a leader of professional learning at the district level. Victoria was the inaugural chair of the New Jersey Professional Teaching Standards Board (NJPTSB), and joined the New Jersey Department of Education in 2003 as Teacher Quality Coordinator, where she co-developed and disseminated a state toolkit for the development of mentoring plans; supported the creation and revisions of teaching standards and professional learning standards; and assisted in the development of nationally recognized professional learning and educator effectiveness polices for the state. She support states and systems with planning and implementation of comprehensive professional learning systems; the development of high functioning learning environments for teachers and leaders; and the design of teacher effectiveness systems.
