2016 Awardee: Kelly Hastings, Young Junior High School
The principal remains the central source of leadership and influence in a school. The Principal as a Leader of Professional Learning Scholarship will assist an already effective principal to strengthen their leadership knowledge, skills and dispositions to improve the outcomes of professional learning for staff resulting in improved student learning outcomes. This year’s recipient is Kelly Hastings, Principal of Young Junior High School in Arlington, Texas.
