The Learning Forward Foundation is dedicated to impacting the future of leadership in schools that act on the belief that continuous learning by educators is essential to improving the achievement of all students. The monies raised by the foundation provide grant opportunities and scholarships for individuals, schools or teams, principals, and superintendents to further Learning Forward's vision, "Equity and excellence in teaching and learning."

The Learning Forward Foundation supports the development of educators’ capacity to improve student learning through innovation and improvement that transforms professional learning, framed by the Learning Forward’s Standards for Professional Learning and implemented with a coherent design through grants, scholarships, and professional support. Our vision is Educate, Innovate, Transform Educator Professional Learning.

The Learning Forward Foundation provides grant opportunities to assist a Learning Forward affiliate needing to rebuild, reorganize, or generate a more vital organization. The grant honors Dale Hair’s legacy of work with the affiliates and her passion for supporting the successful work of the affiliates.
The Learning Forward Foundation also offers several scholarships for school-based and district-based educators working to advance the Standards for Professional Learning through the Learning Forward Academy experience.
